How to Register: 

Step 1:                   To register for the event click on the registration tab where you will be redirected the

                               Eventbrite registration page.
                                  

                               The cost to register is $75 per racer (fees included) until August 15th, 2013

                               and $100 from August 15th - to September 8th at midnight
 

 Step 2:                  All racers are required to fundraise $100 upon registering and there will be prizes for the top

                               fundraisers.
 

 Step 3:                  Once you have registered you will be sent details on how to get started with your

                               fundraising efforts;

                               Once you have registered you will be set up with a Canada  Helps page to manage your

                               fundraising efforts
                         

                               All donations collected will be directed to United Way Perth-Huron. United Way Perth-Huron

                               raises over  $1.1 million each year to support over 50 agencies, projects and programs

                               throughout Perth and Huron County.

Step 4:                   Book you overnight accommodations:  click here to visit our accommodations page
 

                               Accommodations:  As the race is booked over a two day period we have provide a list of   

                               campgrounds and places to stay for the night after race day one. Teams that present the receipt  

                               for using one of our listed accommodations will get extra points for their team.

                               Book as soon as possible to ensure you get a spot.

                               the race

​Race Details and Registration:

 

The inaugural 48 Hour Amazing Race Central Huron will be held on Saturday, Sept 28 & Sunday, Sept 29, 2013.

 

AMAZING RACE HEAD QUARTERS (Registration/First Aid/Weekend Check in/Volunteer Check Point/Help Desk) will be at CHCC


This 2 day EXCITING ADVENTURE event is being hosted by the Municipality of Central Huron and the Clinton and Central Huron BIA in support of United Way Perth Huron.

 

This is 2 day outdoor, athletic event will challenge your physical ability, mind, body and team work skills!

 

Teams will be traveling across the Municipality of Central Huron  to complete a number of challenges, following clues, maps, hints and more. The race will feature an array of challenges throughout the weekend.       

 

Teams will compete for points which can be accumulated by creativity, team work, time and more…. There will be 16 teams of 2 and 16 teams of 4 competing over the two day time frame.

 

Please note** you must have access to a vehicle for the challenge as the municipality is a fairly large municipality and you will need access to transportation to take you from challenge to challenge.

Please NOTE** When registering your team of 2 or 4, please register under your Captains' name. Your Captain will receive an email within 48 hours to confirm your registration, request your team name and shirt sizes. Additional information will be provided at that time as well.

Central Huron Celebration:

On Saturday evening we will be hosting a “celebration”  for all participants, their families and the community to join. The event will be hosted at Club Huron Fish & Game in Clinton beginning at 5 pm.  There will be a corn and pig roast, live music and a lot of fun!  All are welcome.To order tickets: http://48hramazingracecentralhuron.eventbrite.ca/
